Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Applicant.link (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- upload content you do not own or have permission to share, or that infringes anyone’s intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- upload content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that depicts violence or exploitation;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
- distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ accounts, or interfere with the Service’s operation;
- scrape, bulk-download, or resell the Service or its content without our written permission.
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Anyone can report a public profile, and we review reports. We may withhold a reported profile from public view while it is reviewed. If your profile is withheld you keep your content; email contact@applicant.link to appeal.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the videos, profile text, and other content you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service — including showing it on your public profile page if you enable one. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period.
5. Copyright and takedown (DMCA)
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to contact@applicant.link that includes:
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- the URL or other location of the allegedly infringing material;
- your name, address, phone number, and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
We will remove or disable access to material that is the subject of a valid notice and may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
6. Availability and changes
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and we may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content will be preserved.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) USD 50.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can request deletion of your account from your dashboard, or by emailing contact@applicant.link. We review deletion requests before carrying them out. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
9. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Questions? Email contact@applicant.link.
